Investment Consultant Manager at Property Hub Are you an experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of building, coaching and motivating high performing teams? We’re looking for someone to build upon our success to date, developing a high performing, motivated sales team that meet our ambitious growth targets and live our values. You’ll be someone who can develop people through coaching, training and performance management, and won’t be phased by inevitable challenges or the constantly changing environment that our business (and the industry) will experience over the next few years. WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING FOR… We began life as the first property podcast back in 2013 and we’ve quickly attracted a huge audience that’s eager to consume everything we do. We’ve built businesses to support the gaps in the market and now Property Hub Invest has an enviable reputation, working with housebuilders and developers across the UK to deliver off-market buy-to-let opportunities to our clients. We’re a content-driven, marketing led business with a huge reach. We’ve helped educate aspiring and experienced investors on how to invest in property through our podcast (300,000+ monthly downloads), four of the UK’s leading property investment books and our social channels that are thousands strong! We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager to help us deliver our ambitious growth plans. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? You will have responsibility for managing and expanding the sales team, translating sales strategy into day-to-day activity. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will actively coach, motivate and manage your team of investment sales consultants, supporting them to individually and collectively achieve their sales targets and KPIs. You’ll ensure they build deep relationships with clients to maximise client lifetime value and ensure our clients become brand advocates. On a typical day you may be: Driving performance across the full team, against a number of KPIs including net sales, call times and call volumes. Ensuring the quality of the client experience through training and monitoring of the service we provide. Ensuring sales opportunities aren’t being missed; provide an active coaching environment by being present on the sales floor and active call monitoring. Monitoring revenue targets for the financial year and make plans for improving revenue generation. Expanding the sales team. Interviewing prospective candidates to ensure that we recruit the best talent in the business. Holding team meetings, 1-2-1s, producing weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Coaching and mentoring staff to develop skills and ensure systems are adhered to for accurate data reporting. Working with the sourcing, marketing and finance teams to develop campaigns and launches. You’ll have an unquestionable passion for property and a desire to progress your career and make your mark in a rapidly growing company. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We’re looking for an individual with an inspiring and motivating management style, who has experience of consultative selling and developing client relationships through education, advice and assistance. You will have strong experience in motivating, coaching, mentoring and developing staff to achieve their best. You’ll have property experience (ideally in a cross-property environment with experience in investments, property and lettings) and a demonstrable background in managing high performing, fast-growing teams. You have an in-depth understanding of the property investment market and the needs of investors, landlords and tenants. The ideal candidate has the drive and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment and adaptability to work within a constantly changing landscape. You’ll have successfully implemented projects, embedding improvements in systems and processes into day-to-day operations, to drive efficiency and results. Experience of using Salesforce would be an advantage. You can generate significant output with minimal wasted effort. You keep an eye on the detail whilst never losing sight of the bigger picture. You are always on the look-out for ways to improve, spearheading innovation and driving change rather than settling for constant firefighting. You are able to structure and process financial and performance data and draw insightful conclusions from it. You demonstrate tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done. You can move quickly and take a forceful stand without being overly abrasive. You are able to work at all levels, and are able to develop strong relationships with departments across the business. SOUND LIKE YOU? If this sounds like your dream job, we want to hear from you. We’ll want to hear examples of times in your career you are most proud of and what results and growth you delivered.
