PropertyFlow is a fast-growing PropTech startup revolutionising property management in the UK. We provide an all-in-one platform for landlords and property managers to manage their portfolios, sync with booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com), track compliance, and handle financial reporting. We're at an exciting inflection point: our product is ready for pilot launch, and we need an exceptional Marketing & Operations Executive to help us establish product-market fit and lay the foundation for scaled growth.

The Role: A Founding Opportunity

As our first dedicated marketing and operations hire, you'll be instrumental in PropertyFlow's success. This isn't a traditional marketing role—you'll be a key strategic leader working directly with the CEO, helping shape how the company goes to market, manages its operations, and scales. You'll own the complete marketing and operations function during our critical pilot phase. Your performance, learnings, and execution will directly determine:

  • The success of our pilot launch with early landlord customers
  • The foundation upon which future team hires are built
  • The company's trajectory in a competitive PropTech market

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone ambitious and entrepreneurial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Brand Building (60%)
    • Develop and execute our go-to-market strategy for the pilot phase, identifying and targeting early adopter landlords and property managers
    • Build and manage our digital presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook
    • Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns
    • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics, providing weekly/monthly insights to leadership
    • Manage partnerships and PR opportunities to amplify brand awareness
    • Support product messaging development in collaboration with the CEO and tech team
  • Operations & Client Success (30%)
    • Act as the first point of contact for landlord inquiries
    • Lead the onboarding process for pilot customers
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with early customers, gathering feedback
    • Handle and resolve client issues promptly
    • Manage administrative workflows and documentation
    • Support the team with scheduling, meeting coordination, and internal communications
  • Business Development & Scaling (10%)
    • Identify partnership opportunities with complementary platforms and services
    • Support lead generation initiatives and sales activities during the pilot phase
    • Contribute ideas for business development that can scale as the company grows

What We're Looking For

  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies from scratch
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation across multiple platforms
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and thriving in ambiguity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Right to work in the UK

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a "can-do" attitude
  • Experience in the property, real estate, short-let, or SaaS industry
  • Background in marketing, business development, or operations at an early-stage startup
  • Analytical—comfortable with data and metrics to inform decisions
  • Strong client relationship skills and empathy for customer challenges
  • Someone who sees this as a career-defining opportunity
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary: £24,000–£32,000 (based on experience)
  • ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan): Opportunity to participate in company ownership as we grow
  • 25 Days Annual Leave + bank holidays
  • Founding Member Status: Direct input on company culture, strategy, and growth
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with a talented, ambitious team in a high-growth environment

Location

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland (on-site role based in our Edinburgh office). Candidates from Edinburgh are preferred. Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship may be available but not on immediate start.
