We're now looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Valuer to join our successful team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, winning instructions and helping homeowners navigate their property journey.

The basic salary: circa 30k

On target earnings: 50k

Let's talk about the role:

As a Sales Valuer, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, carrying out property valuations and converting market appraisals into instructions. Working closely with the wider sales team, you'll play a key role in growing market share within the Horsforth area and delivering an exceptional customer experience from valuation through to instruction.

It involves:

• Conducting residential sales valuations and market appraisals across Horsforth and the surrounding areas.
• Building strong relationships with prospective vendors and providing expert advice on the local property market.
• Securing instructions and consistently achieving valuation conversion targets.
• Preparing accurate property valuations using comparable evidence and local market knowledge.
• Following up valuation appointments and nurturing potential clients through the sales process.
• Generating new business opportunities through referrals, recommendations and database activity.
• Working closely with Sales Negotiators to ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Providing vendors with advice on pricing strategy, presentation and marketing opportunities.
• Identifying opportunities to promote additional services, including mortgage and conveyancing referrals.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
• Monitoring local market trends and competitor activity to maximise business opportunities.

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Sales Valuer, Lister, Senior Sales Negotiator or similar estate agency role.
• A proven track record of winning instructions and generating new business.
• Excellent knowledge of the residential sales market.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills.
• The confidence to present professionally and advise clients on pricing strategies.
• A highly motivated and target-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
