Cleaning Operative

Liberty Shopping Centre, Romford RM1 3RL

Cleaning Operative role; must be flexible and willing to cover holidays and sickness at site. Shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 07:00-16:00; Sunday 09:00-18:00. 36 hours per week. £12.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor.
• Attend to all urgent cleaning and spills when required.
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Customer service
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.

Ideal Candidate

• Willing to support with overtime to cover staff sickness & Holidays.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Polite and professional.
• Willingness to learn.
• Flexible and reliable willing to do overtime & weekends if required.
• Experience preferred but full training provided.
• Good self-presentation (uniform provided).
