Our client is a leading, upmarket residential property investment and development company, and they are currently looking to recruit a BTR Senior Property Manager to join their thriving BTR division in Bishop's Stortford.
They are a well-established and respected business, and they are now looking for a proactive, customer-focused professional to be the operational owner of their development and take pride in its performance, presentation and resident experience.
Success in this role means creating a building that is well run, well maintained and compliant; where residents receive an excellent and responsive service; where issues are identified and resolved proactively; and where operational performance, costs and standards are managed effectively.
You will work closely with the head of property operations, lettings partners, contractors and other teams, while retaining day-to-day ownership and accountability for the successful operation of their development.

Personal specification:
- Strong residential property management or Build-to-Rent experience
- A good working knowledge of current UK private rented sector legislation, including the Renters’ Rights Act 2025
- Excellent customer service and resident relationship skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to identify and resolve problems independently
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Confidence managing contractors, suppliers and maintenance works
- Good commercial awareness and an understanding of maintenance and operational cost control
- A practical understanding of residential building systems and maintenance requirements
- Confidence using property management and CRM systems, including Reapit
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy residential environment
- Sound judgement and the ability to recognise when issues require escalation
- A personable, approachable and professional manner.
This superb senior property management opportunity will pay a basic salary of £40,000, plus bonus.
