An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing and forward-thinking construction consultancy based in Winchester. This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role offering exposure to a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, heritage and public sector projects. Schemes range from refurbishment through to new build, with project values up to £50m. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion, while contributing to client relationships and wider business growth.

Role & Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:

  • Leading projects through all RIBA stages from feasibility to completion
  • Acting as the key client contact and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and consultants
  • Managing project programmes, risk and reporting
  • Chairing project meetings and overseeing delivery on site
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
  • Providing technical advice across procurement and contract strategy
  • Managing contract administration (JCT / NEC and other forms)
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Contributing to business development and repeat client work

Skills & Experience of the Senior Project Manager:

  • Proven experience in project management within a consultancy or client-side environment
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
  • Experience delivering projects across multiple sectors
  • Knowledge of JCT, NEC or other contract forms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • MRICS, MCIOB, APM or working towards desirable
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
