An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly respected independent construction consultancy with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK.
Working across prime residential, heritage, education and luxury hospitality sectors, you’ll be involved in some of the most prestigious projects in the country. This is a client-facing role offering genuine responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team delivering projects where quality is paramount.
This role would suit a Project Manager with consultancy or client-side experience who enjoys taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion while building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities- Leading projects through all RIBA stages from inception to completion
- Managing project programmes, budgets and risk registers
- Administering JCT contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent
- Coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Managing client relationships and acting as the key point of contact
- Working closely with Quantity Surveyors to manage costs and commercial performance
- Chairing project meetings and reporting on progress
- Monitoring project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within a consultancy or client-side environment
- Strong understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work
- Experience administering JCT contracts
- Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of project risk
- Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline
- MRICS, MCIOB, APM or working towards professional qualification preferred
- Experience within heritage, education or high-end residential projects would be advantageous
- £50,000 – £70,000 base salary
