An exciting new opportunity for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join a small, growing Construction Consultancy based near Romsey, but relocating to Southampton later in the year. Working alongside an experienced team, the successful candidate will focus on a range of public sector works, as well as private sector projects covering residential BTR, leisure and tourism. The role will also involve programme management working on a number of frameworks.
Role and responsibilities of the Project Manager/Senior Project Manager:
- Take projects from inception to completion, up to £20m in value
- Writing project briefs, consultant specifications
- Appointment of external consultants and contractors
- Supervision of external consultants
- Cost control and financial management of projects
- Assist with programme management across various frameworks, covering procurement through to delivery
Skills and experience of the Project Manager/Senior Project Manager:
- Consultancy or client side construction project management experience
- Public sector projects experience would be beneficial (not essential)
- MRICS/MCIOB/MAPM qualifications would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
Salary and benefits:
