An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy in Poole. This role offers excellent career development prospects, working alongside the Directors on a diverse range of projects across the Commercial, Industrial, and Residential sectors. Full APC support and training will be provided to enable career progression to full MRICS membership.

Role and Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:

  • Mix of professional and project-based work
  • Contract administration & Employers Agent project supervision
  • Undertaking building inspections (Building Surveys, Measured Surveys, Dilapidations inspections)
  • Preparing Building Survey / Condition reports
  • Preparing Schedules of Condition and Dilapidations, and assisting with negotiations
  • Service of Party Wall Notices and negotiation/preparation of Party Wall Awards
  • Preparation, checking, and reporting of Tenders for building work
  • Preparing detailed Specifications of Work

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant degree in Building Surveying or similar
  • Minimum 2 years of Building Surveying experience in the commercial sector
  • Full driving licence required
  • Based within commuting distance of Poole, or looking to relocate
  • Seeking a long-term role in a growing business

Salary & Benefits:
