Valuation Surveyor in Portsmouth

A well-established independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and commercial property specialists is looking to appoint an experienced Valuation Surveyor to join their growing team. This can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, making it an ideal opportunity for someone seeking flexibility without compromising on career progression.

The firm provides a full range of valuation services across commercial portfolios, development sites, investment properties, loan security, financial reporting and more. You’ll work alongside an experienced, supportive team and take on high-quality client work from day one.

This role is only open to candidates who are already based within a commutable distance of the office. Relocation applications will not be considered.

The Role:

• Undertake commercial property valuations for loan security, acquisitions, disposals, and financial reporting.
• Prepare detailed, RICS-compliant valuation reports.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships with lenders, investors, developers and occupiers.
• Support business development and contribute to team growth.
• Ensure compliance with RICS and industry standards.
• Optional involvement in mentoring junior team members.

About You:

• RICS Registered Valuer
• Strong experience in commercial valuations.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
• Open to part-time or full-time working arrangements.
