Head of Property Management - Interim (6 months)

This interim Head of Property Management will lead a regional property management team. The role is client-facing, reports to the Finance Director and combines technical property management, commercial oversight and team leadership.

It's hybrid working (1-2 days in the office) and would suit someone living in the South West

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the property management team
• Take ownership of client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery across commercial and residential portfolios.
• Prepare and oversee service charge budgets and reconciliations; ensure landlord obligations are met through coordination with Facilities and Property Management teams.
• Act as a senior client contact, manage key lease events including rent reviews and renewals, and support Management Company administration.
• Maintain full statutory compliance across the portfolio and ensure appropriate buildings insurance; oversee insurance procurement in line with RICS DPB requirements.
• Ensure timely collection of rent, service charges, insurance premiums and other recoverable costs in collaboration with the Client Accounting team.

Skills & Experience

• MRICS qualified (essential).
• Proven track record in commercial property management across mixed portfolios.
• Strong leadership skills and experience of managing teams.
• Exemplary client management skills and a proactive, professional approach to change.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
