An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Property Surveyor to join a growing commercial property investment business with a diverse portfolio of retail, industrial, office and mixed-use assets.
Working closely with the Property Director and experienced property professionals, you'll gain exposure to all aspects of commercial property ownership, asset management and development.
This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate looking to build a long-term career within commercial property, with excellent opportunities to develop your skills and work towards APC and MRICS.
Role and Responsibilities of the Graduate Property Surveyor
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio
- Supporting landlord & tenant matters including lease renewals, rent reviews and licence agreements
- Liaising with occupiers, surveyors, solicitors and other professional advisers
- Undertaking property inspections and preparing reports
- Supporting acquisitions, disposals and development opportunities
- Assisting with maintenance, refurbishment and improvement projects
- Maintaining tenancy records and property management systems
- Undertaking market research and supporting wider asset management initiatives
- Working closely with the Property Director on portfolio and investment matters
Skills & Experience of the Graduate Property Surveyor
- Degree qualified in Real Estate, Property, Surveying or a related discipline
- Previous commercial property experience desirable but not essential
- Genuine interest in commercial property investment and asset management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, proactive and commercially minded
- Keen to work towards APC and achieve MRICS
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence
