The predicted salary is between 51750 - 63250 Β£ per year.

  • Role & Responsibilities
  • To assist in generating fees throughout the management and development of existing and new clients and contribute towards the achievement of the financial and other objectives of the Building Surveying Department.
  • To provide a full building surveying service to external clients and in house where required
  • Carrying out Building Surveys of all types of commercial buildings and at times residential properties
  • Preparation of Schedules of Dilapidations
  • Project management, contract administration and design for refurbishment projects for commercial premises
  • Undertaking CDM Co-ordinator role for in-house and external clients. Providing professional advice to clients and others as required.
  • Providing a full Party Wall etc Act 1996 service to Building and Adjoining owners
  • Preparation of Schedules of Condition
  • Advising clients on preventative maintenance and planned maintenance strategy and implementing same.
  • Investigating and advising client on specific building problems / defects
  • Fire insurance valuations for commercial buildings and property portfolios
  • Acting as expert witness in building or property disputes and providing appropriate reports etc

Skills & Experience

  • MRICS Qualified or working towards chartership
  • Broad range of experience in professional and project work
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to demonstrate technical competence.
  • Current driving license.
