Associate Building Surveyor A leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Building Surveyor to join their established Building Surveying team. The consultancy has an excellent reputation across the construction and property sectors, providing a full range of professional services to a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients. As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will take responsibility for delivering a broad range of Building Surveying services across a varied portfolio of projects. You will work closely with senior colleagues and clients, taking a lead role in project delivery while also supporting the development of junior members of the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop their project management, technical and client-facing responsibilities within a growing consultancy. Building Condition Surveys and Schedules of Condition Measured Surveys and preparation of technical reports Contract Administration Project management of refurbishment, alteration and new-build projects Monitoring works on site and reporting on progress Reviewing contractor valuations and variations Managing project programmes, costs and quality Supporting and mentoring graduate and junior Building Surveyors Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or working towards chartership Significant post-qualification or relevant Building Surveying experience Strong experience across both professional and project Building Surveying services Proven experience of Contract Administration and Employer's Agent duties Strong technical knowledge of building construction, defects and refurbishment Strong organisational and project management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant surveying/project management software would be advantageous Full UK driving licence and access to a car This is a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career within a well-respected and growing consultancy.
