About our client
Our client is an established residential business stepping into the Build to Rent market for the first time.
This is a genuine fresh start for them in the BTR space, and they're looking for the right person to lead it.
The role
This is a newly created position leading the launch and day-to-day running of a new BTR offering within a wider residential estate.
You'll take one block of around 160 apartments and shape the rental service from scratch, becoming the client's in-house BTR specialist.
You'll own the full resident journey while advising the business on best practice, compliance and legislation.
It's an onsite role, Monday to Friday.
- What you'll be doing
- Manage the full lettings lifecycle, from first enquiry through to move-out
- Run viewings and convert enquiries into signed tenancies
- Handle pre-tenancy admin, tenancy progression and post-tenancy processes
- Register deposits, oversee rent collection and keep on top of all statutory compliance
- Coordinate maintenance issues with the onsite property management team
- Act as the main point of contact for residents and advise the wider business on BTR best practice and upcoming legislation
Skills and experience
Essential
- Genuine, hands-on Build to Rent experience
- Strong knowledge of tenancy legislation and compliance, including the Renters' Rights reforms
- Confident managing the full lettings lifecycle end to end
- Comfortable being the expert in the room and guiding a team that's new to BTR
Desirable
- Experience with MRI Qube or similar property management software
- A track record of establishing processes and standards for new developments
