This is a site-based, customer-focused Defects Manager position, covering a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves overseeing the daily management of defects reported to the Customer Services team across all residential developments within the portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing defects within warranty periods
- Handling snagging lists
- Conducting quality assurance checks before handover
- Ensuring effective communication with customers, their tenants, and trade contractors
- Tracking and resolving defects
- Coordinating with contractors
- Hosting regular meetings to discuss defect progress
- Maintaining clear records on internal systems
The Person
We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused professional with a hands-on approach to defect management. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and have a strong ability to learn new software quickly. Experience in a similar defect management role is essential, and having a background in high-end residential properties is highly desirable. Line management experience is a plus. Annual Salary: £60,000
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
