We are seeking an Asset Manager to support the management of a nationwide portfolio of residential freehold and ground rent assets from our client's Bolton office. You will be the day-to-day link between freeholders, managing agents, leaseholders and professional advisors, ensuring the portfolio is compliant, well-managed and protected.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of a national freehold/ground-rent portfolio.
- Maintaining accurate asset, lease, service charge and key-date records.
- Monitoring and challenging managing agent performance.
- Reviewing leases, headleases and supporting compliance and statutory obligations.
- Liaising on service charge budgets, expenditure and major works.
- Acting as a contact point for managing agents, advisors and leaseholders.
- Preparing portfolio reports, KPIs and asset tracking updates.
- Supporting projects such as acquisitions, disposals and asset improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 5+ years' experience in residential property or block management, leasehold administration, estates or asset management.
- A good understanding of leases, service charges and landlord/tenant obligations (training can be provided).
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Clear, confident communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Good numeracy and confidence reviewing budgets or accounts.
- Strong IT capability, including MS Office; experience with property systems is an advantage.
The Package
- Salary: Β£50,000-Β£60,000 per annum.
- Hours: Monday β Friday, 9:00am β 5:00pm.
- Location: Bolton, with occasional UK travel.
