Our client is seeking a highly skilled, technically driven Maintenance Manager to oversee engineering operations across two flagship PBSA assets. Working closely with senior leadership and on-site teams, you’ll take responsibility for performance, compliance, and continuous improvement of building services across both sites, leading a team of engineers to deliver a safe, efficient, and best-in-class living environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance and engineering operations across two PBSA sites
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of six engineers, driving a high-performance culture
  • Take ownership of all M&E systems, with a focus on electrical infrastructure and compliance
  • Manage PPM and reactive maintenance delivery
  • Ensure full statutory compliance, H&S adherence, and internal standards
  • Coordinate external contractors to ensure quality, cost control, and timely delivery
  • Work with operational teams to enhance resident experience and service delivery
  • Monitor budgets, control expenditure, and identify efficiencies and asset improvements
  • Support capital projects, refurbishments, and lifecycle planning

Your Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior engineering role within PBSA, residential, hospitality, or similar environments
  • Strong M&E background, with clear expertise and qualifications in electrical engineering
  • Demonstrable experience managing and leading engineering teams
  • Excellent knowledge of building services, compliance, and health & safety legislation
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple sites effectively
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and contractor performance
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Hands-on, proactive, and driven to deliver high standards of service and performance
