Full-time, Permanent position as Community Manager for our clients lively mixed-use building in the heart of South London. You're the one making their members lives better whether that's arranging community events, helping them book meeting rooms or showing them how to use the printer.

Our clients space opened its doors five years ago – set over 7 floors with a mix of work, food, music, and fitness spaces. They want to create a diverse and unique working environment and support a balanced lifestyle for people living in and around the area.

Our clients coworking space provides ready-to-use desks on flexible monthly contracts for hundreds of individuals and small businesses.

They're all about supporting different kinds of small businesses that are based in and around the local neighbourhood. Their building is full of life, so we're looking for bright, professional, hardworking characters to add into the broad mix of people already based there.

Job Summary

As the focal point, you will be customer service focused and a team player. The Community Manager is a hands-on role, so we're looking for someone who will be the friendly face the space, who the member will love to engage with, and who crat the member experience. You will be responsible for:

  • Be the first and last point of contact for members
  • Meeting members needs allowing them to focus on their own businesses
  • Onboarding new members
  • Plan, promote and host regular community events
  • Work on community initiatives designed to create connections between members, including introductions, networking, event support and email/print communication
  • Ensure the workspace looks great and runs smoothly every day
  • Keep all sales platforms up to date with photos and availability
  • Conducting tours of the space for potential new members
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create/provide engaging text, image and video content for our social media accounts
  • Work with management on any issues to ensure member satisfaction
  • Occasional oversight of our food and beverage tenants

  • Friendly and engaging and able to make themselves available at a moment's notice
  • Self-starter who takes pride in exceeding expectations
  • Ideally, you'll have experience in the running of a coworking space / flexible workspace / serviced office or similar customer service and hospitality focused environment
  • Ability to work well in teams and individually
  • Multifaceted; you're willing to turn your hand to anything
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
