We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a well established Build to Rent residential property operation in London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in residential maintenance and compliance, who takes pride in delivering excellent service standards within a modern living environment.
You will support the day to day upkeep of a high quality residential development, ensuring properties, communal areas and building systems are maintained safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across apartments and communal areas
- Complete compliance checks and maintain accurate maintenance and safety records
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with apartment turnarounds, inspections, and basic refurbishment works
- Support health & safety procedures and ensure building compliance standards are met
- Liaise with residents, contractors, and on-site teams to ensure works are completed efficiently
- Monitor and report maintenance issues, defects, and compliance requirements
- Previous experience in residential, build to rent, student accommodation or high end property environments
- Strong understanding of maintenance compliance and reporting processes
- Good all round maintenance skills (basic plumbing, decorating, repairs, etc.)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Organised with strong administrative ability
- Comfortable working independently within a busy operational environment
£32,000 - £34,000 per annum
Additional Information- Full-time, on site position
- Occasional weekend work may be required based on operational needs
- Immediate or short notice availability preferred
