This is a step-up role for an installer who's ready for more. You'll be on the tools installing, servicing and maintaining EV chargers, solar and batteries across domestic and commercial sites, while acting as our Qualified Supervisor. As the business grows, there's a genuine route to coming off the tools as our full-time QS and Installation Manager, and a route to a stake in the business for the right person.
The role
- Domestic and commercial EV charger installs, plus solar and battery work
- Servicing, maintenance and reactive call-outs
- Acting as QS: inspection and testing, certification and signing off work
- Supporting our subcontract installers on technical standards
- Travel across our regions when the job needs it, not every day or every week
What you’ll need
- Level 3 electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / AM2 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
- EV charging installation qualification (Level 3)
- Full UK driving licence
Nice to have
- Solar PV and battery storage qualifications
- Commercial install experience
- Exposure to scheme assessments or certification paperwork
