The East Midlands is home turf. We're based in Chesterfield, and this role covers installs from Derbyshire across to Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. Expect a strong mix of domestic EV work, plus a growing number of commercial sites.
The role
- Installing domestic EV chargers to a high standard, with tidy cable runs and clean finishes
- Commercial EV installs at workplaces, depots and destination sites
- Servicing, maintenance and fault-finding visits on chargers already in the field
- Solar PV and battery installs as you build experience and qualifications
- Testing, commissioning and completing certification on every job
- Uploading photo evidence and completion paperwork through our installer job portal
- Explaining the finished install to customers clearly, without jargon
- Leaving every site tidier than you found it
What you'll need
- Level 3 electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / AM2 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- EV charging installation qualification (Level 3)
- Experience on domestic installs
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident working alone and dealing directly with customers
Nice to have
- Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
- Solar PV and battery storage qualifications
- Commercial or three-phase EV experience
- Experience with smart charger commissioning apps and OCPP back offices
