We are looking for a Learning, Talent & Growth Manager to join our People & Culture team.

The Person
The right person for this role will be passionate about helping people grow and will bring positive, motivating energy to the work they deliver.

They will combine commercial awareness with genuine curiosity across all areas of the business.
Comfortable working with both front line teams and senior leaders, they will ask thoughtful questions, challenge constructively and turn ideas into practical solutions.
They will build strong relationships, bring people with them and communicate clearly in a way that feels engaging, relevant and aligned to our values and brand tone of voice.
The Role
As Learning, Talent & Capability Manager, you will play a key role in helping PROPER SNACKS build the team we need for the future.
Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll shape how we develop our people, strengthen our leadership pipeline and create clear pathways for growth, while ensuring strong learning and compliance foundations are in place – particularly at our factory.
The initial focus of the role will be on our Nuneaton site where we want to ensure learning and compliance are fully embedded into the culture.
The role will broaden to drive our learning agenda across the entire business – supporting all London and Nuneaton based talent.
Responsibilities
- Compliance & Assurance
- Ensure learning governance, compliance and audit readiness across the business, especially in manufacturing.
- Maintain competence frameworks, onboarding pathways and training standards.
- Lead the Training team to deliver compliance, admin and learning operations well.
- Capability Development
- Develop role profiles, capability frameworks and career pathways across PS.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Technical and Supply Chain to build skills and functional excellence.
- Extend this approach across the wider organisation over time.
- Talent & Succession
- Work with P&C to evolve talent management and succession planning.
- Develop high-potential talent through targeted initiatives, including Thrive Accelerator.
- Strengthen internal mobility and career progression to build future leaders.
- Future Skills & Workforce Planning
- Work with leaders to identify the skills and talent needed for future business plans.
- Use workforce and talent insights to guide capability planning and investment.
- Growth Culture & Technology
- Champion everyday learning, feedback and development.
- Ensure Roles & Goals and growth conversations are delivered consistently.
- Own and improve learning platforms and resources, including Thrive and the Builder's Toolkit.
- Oversee apprenticeships and learning partnerships to maximise impact.
Requirements
- Depth of experience designing and delivering learning and capability strategies within a growing organisation.
Experience in a food or drinks business is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with diverse employee populations in both office and operational/manufacturing environments.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems, people data, learning metrics and organisational insights to drive decision-making.
- Strong understanding of modern learning methodologies and capability-building approaches.
- Proven ability to design scalable frameworks, processes and programmes that support business growth.
