Proper Recruitment are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity on behalf of a ranked Legal 500 law firm who are looking for a Residential Real Estate Solicitor to join their successful Residential Property team in London.
Responsibilities:
- Taking on matters within the property department, with cases and transactions including (but not limited to) freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-financing and transfers of equity.
- Managing own case load and building your own work and contacts with potential referrers.
- Obtaining regular positive feedback from clients, colleagues and referrers.
- Taking on responsibility within a close-knit team and helping to teach trainees and paralegals.
- Dealing directly with clients to take instructions and deliver on client expectations.
- Working closely with partners and solicitors to develop client relationship skills.
- Identifying and following relevant SRA principles and rules of professional conduct.
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.
- β’ Adept client care skills and ability to manage own caseload.
- β’ Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- β’ Must be experienced at multi-tasking, managing time sensitive matters and taking responsibility for delegated tasks.
- β’ Must thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Must have obtained a 2:1 or 1st class undergraduate degree.
