Role: Associate Director – Building Control
Proper Recruitment are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing Building Safety Consultancy who are involved in a number of exciting schemes across London and the UK. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of Building Regulations, experience working on High-Risk Buildings and be a Chartered Member of CABE.
Responsibilities:
- Offering Building Regulations advise to the Principal Designer across varied projects
- Offer advice around the Building Safety Act
- Overseeing multiple projects
- Supporting the collation and submission of Gateway 2 & 3 information
- Undertake plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval
- Undertake inspections at key stages of the building process
- Attend client and design team meetings to offer professional input in relation to building regulations compliance
Requirements:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification
- Chartered status: CABE, RICS, CIOB, RIBA etc
- Class 3 building inspector (2H / 2G)
- Competent technically
- In-depth knowledge of building regulation and approved documents
- Experienced in undertaking inspections buildings and properties.
- Excellent knowledge of BSA, building regulations, codes and legislation.
- Full UK Driving Licence
