Proper Recruitment are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity on behalf of a fast growing law firm client who are looking for an experienced Property Solicitor to come in at Associate / Senior Associate level with 5+ years PQE to join their office in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking on matters within the property department, with cases and transactions including (but not limited to) freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-financing and transfers of equity.
  • Managing own case load and building your own work and contacts with potential referrers.
  • Working with partners in the department to help shape and grow the property team.
  • Contributing to business development efforts and the growth and development of the department by attending marketing and networking events as well as providing regular content for external newsletters and legal updates.
  • Obtaining regular positive feedback from clients, colleagues and referrers.
  • Taking on managerial responsibility within a close-knit team and helping to develop trainees and paralegals.
  • Dealing directly with clients to take instructions and deliver on client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Adept client care skills and ability to manage own caseload.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must be experienced at multi-tasking, managing time sensitive matters and taking responsibility for delegated tasks.
  • Must thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must have obtained a 2:1 or 1st class undergraduate degree.
  • 5+ years PQE within residential property conveyancing.

Salary: Competitive (DOE)
