Proper Recruitment are working with a well-established law firm who have a vacancy for an existing Partner or experienced Senior Solicitor to join their expanding Corporate department, based in either London or Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Partner, or an ambitious solicitor seeking partnership, to join a friendly and positive working environment with plenty of scope for innovation and development.
Extensive legal knowledge across a broad range of company and corporate matters is required.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of corporate matters
- Advising on M&A, share sales, business sales and investments
- Building and developing the firm's Corporate department
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
- Contributing to business development and client relationship building
Requirements:
- Extensive corporate law experience
- Established Partner, or ambitious solicitor seeking partnership and advancement
- Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to advising clients
