Proper Recruitment have just taken on a fantastic Head of Property Management opportunity on behalf of a thriving independent estate agency in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property management professional who is ready to take ownership of a department, lead a team, and shape processes within a growing and well-respected business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the property management department.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the property management team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Implement and improve processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for landlords, tenants, and contractors.
  • Ensure full compliance with current property management legislation and best practice.
  • Manage workloads, KPIs, and service standards across the department.
  • Work closely with the Directors to support the ongoing growth of the business.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in residential property management.
  • Proven experience managing portfolios and leading or mentoring team members.
  • Strong knowledge of property management legislation and compliance.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • ARLA qualification is desirable but not essential.
