Proper Good has had an amazing couple of years growing our business, working with fantastic new clients, from some of the UK’s biggest charities to sparky new start-ups. As we enter our next phase of growth, we’re looking for a freelance New Business Manager to help take us to the next level.

We’re after someone who can open doors, spark conversations, and has the tenacity (and the black book) to help us grow and fulfill our potential. You’ll bring both strategic thinking and practical hustle — balancing pipeline building with smart positioning that keeps Proper Good front-of-mind across the industry as the go-to partner for content production.

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of both the agency/advertising landscape with a proven track record in working at a high level within creative industries.

What you’ll do

• Position Proper Good as a go-to partner for content and creative production.

• Identify and convert qualified leads into live briefs.

• Collaborate with our founders to shape outreach campaigns and proposal materials.

• Track, measure and report on performance against agreed KPIs.

What success looks like (first 90 days)

• 30 qualified conversions

• 10 client meetings booked

• 6 proposals issued

• A consistent inbound and outbound rhythm established

  • Strengthened agency reputation through new partnerships.

Who you are

• A well-connected business developer or agency leader with a strong understanding of the advertising and creative landscape.

• Proven experience generating and closing opportunities at a senior level.

• Tenacious, personable, and able to represent the Proper Good brand with confidence and warmth.

The deal
