The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 € per hour.

This is a Monday to Friday role that is currently working Monday to Thursday, 14:00 to 00:30, but this could change. Hours of work will be 14:00 to 00:30 (with 2 x 30 minutes unpaid breaks). Starting salary is £12.50 per hour with an enhanced rate of £15.63 per hour. Enhanced rate is for hours between 20:00 and 06:00 and for hours over 37.5 per week. Furthermore, our pay banding system allows opportunities to increase this even further as you progress through your training. You will need to attend a Company induction day (09:00 to 15:30) before starting the role.

This is a physically demanding role, lifting weights up to 25kg on a regular basis, and will involve standing and being on your feet for the majority of the shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Setup: You will be responsible for the initial setup of our scales and mixers at the beginning of each shift, ensuring they are set up correctly for work to commence.
  • Decanting Ingredients: You'll prepare various quantities of ingredients for use, ensuring they are always to-hand as required by your colleagues within the Mix Prep team or those working in the production lines.
  • Weighing-out Ingredients: You'll be in charge of precisely weighing the correct ingredients against bespoke recipes for all of our delicious product fillings.
  • Maintaining Traceability: You will play a key role in guaranteeing the safety and traceability of our products, ensuring that batch numbers for raw ingredients and completed mixes are correctly displayed and recorded.
  • Supplying the Production Lines: You'll work to ensure our production lines are kept well-supplied throughout the course of your shift.
  • Mixer Operation: Operating Mixers is another important aspect of your role, as you'll ensure every high quality mix has an even distribution of each mouth-watering ingredient.
  • Glaze Preparation: Preparing glaze is also a part of your role, ensuring a consistent supply of glaze to be applied to pastry products, ensuring an even, lustrous appearance when baked.
  • Waste Management: We take waste and yield management seriously, and you will be responsible for minimising waste and for handling and disposing of it correctly to maintain a clean and efficient work environment for the production of high quality products.
  • Team Support: You'll be part of a close-knit team with a dedicated team leader always available to provide help and guidance.
  • Training Program: We provide full and comprehensive training. You'll undergo a training program that prioritises quality and efficiency, turning you into a food manufacturing pro in no time!
