We are entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to help drive the next chapter of the Proper Cornish brand.
The Role: We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Marketing Manager to lead brand and product marketing across Proper Cornish. This is a hands‑on role responsible for increasing awareness of the Proper Cornish brand, supporting the commercial team to drive growth, and delivering marketing activity that strengthens customer relationships and creates demand across multiple channels.
You’ll lead a small team at the Bodmin site, consisting of a Marketing Assistant and a Senior Graphic Designer, while working closely with Sales, NPD and the leadership team to bring campaigns, launches and customer initiatives to life. This role would suit someone who combines strategic thinking with strong executional delivery and enjoys working in a fast‑paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Days of work: Monday to Friday
Location: Based at our Bodmin site, with flexibility for hybrid working
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications
Bonus: Performance‑related bonus scheme
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand & Marketing Strategy: Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy for Proper Cornish. Build awareness and visibility of the Proper Cornish brand across target sectors. Ensure brand consistency across all channels and customer touchpoints. Position Proper Cornish as an innovative market leader within savoury food‑to‑go.
- Commercial Support: Partner closely with the commercial team to support customer growth and sales opportunities. Create compelling sales and marketing materials to support pitches, presentations and launches. Develop campaigns and activations that drive product awareness and customer engagement.
