Join Our Hygiene Team and Help Keep Our Bakery at Its Best

We are looking for dedicated Hygiene Operatives to join our friendly night shift team, working Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 06:30.

The starting rate is £13.55 per hour, rising to an enhanced rate of £16.94 per hour for hours worked between 8pm and 6am and for hours over 37.5 per week.

As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a vital part in deep cleaning our bakery after production, ensuring our facilities and equipment remain spotless, safe, and fully compliant with our food safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hygiene

Maintenance: You will help maintain exceptional hygiene standards throughout our bakery, making sure our production areas remain safe, sanitary, and ready for the next shift.

  • Deep
  • Cleaning

Tasks: You will carry out thorough cleaning of large industrial bakery equipment and food production areas using approved methods and chemicals.

This includes deep cleaning after production to ensure every surface and piece of equipment meets our strict standards.

  • Record Keeping: You will complete documentation to show that cleaning procedures have been followed correctly and that required hygiene levels have been achieved.

Operation: Once trained, you will operate and clean a range of machinery.

This includes dismantling and reassembling equipment to ensure all parts are cleaned effectively and safely.
