Join Our AM Hygiene Team, as a Hygiene Operative!

We are looking for an additional Production Hygiene Operative to join our friendly day shift team working Monday to Friday from 09:00 - 17:30.

Starting salary is £13.55 per hour with an enhanced rate of £16.94 per hour.

Enhanced rate is for hours between 8pm and 6am and for hours over 37.5 per week.

If so, we’re looking for dedicated Production Hygiene Operatives to ensure our facilities and large bakery equipment remain pristine and in compliance with quality management systems and good manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hygiene

Maintenance: Your primary responsibility is to maintain impeccable hygiene standards in our food production areas, creating a safe and sanitary environment for our operations.

  • Cleaning

Tasks: You will undertake cleaning tasks using best practices, ensuring that all surfaces and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised using appropriate chemicals.

This will involve dismantling and deep cleaning of large industrial bakery equipment and putting it back together again.

  • Record Keeping: You’ll complete records to document the execution of hygiene procedures and the achievement of set standards.

Operation: Once trained, you will have the opportunity to operate various machinery and equipment, contributing to the efficiency of our cleaning processes.

This will involve some dismantling of equipment and putting it back together again.
