Join team Propeller. We’re more than just a cool London agency. We are SEO partner to some of the UK’s hottest bars, clubs and event venues. And we’re looking for our newest SEO expert.

You’ll build SEO strategies, execute across content and technical SEO with the support of your SEO team, and you’ll be the voice of SEO with clients, internal stakeholders and the industry.

  • Search Engine Optimisation Manager , £50-55k (dependant on experience)
  • Hybrid working – Tuesday-Thursday based in our Angel office, Monday & Friday work-from-home.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic SEO planning: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with clients’ business goals.
  • AI: You have an interest and growing expertise in how AI is shaping and changing SEO, and can advise and optimise for AI Overviews and LLMs.
  • Content: Conduct editorial and transactional content audits, keyword research, and on‑page optimisation to drive traffic growth and improve rankings. Work closely with our content team, freelancers, and agencies to ensure high‑quality, optimised content.
  • Technical SEO: Shape and deliver an innovative Technical SEO roadmap – run technical audits, competitor analysis and follow general AI trends, work with Tech to implement recommendations.
  • Quality assurance: Be accountable for the quality of SEO delivery across the SEO team.
  • Client communication: Be the voice of SEO within Propeller, participating in client and internal calls related to SEO. Proactively articulate your findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to each team member and clients, orally and in written form.
  • Collaboration: Work positively with all teams and particularly with Account & Project Managers. From exploring the briefs, to building strategies, execution and reporting.
  • Team management: Line manage our remote SEO team (currently 2 people).
  • Sales: Contribute towards, and participate in, new business pitches and upsell opportunities.
  • Marketing: Contribute towards, and participate in, webinars, conferences, thought leadership and other marketing activity.
