We are helping to hire a VP of Performance Marketing for a profitable, fast-scaling travel-tech business that’s at a really interesting inflection point. They’re moving from pure acquisition-led growth to more sustainable, profitable, tech-enabled scaling and this hire is central to that shift. You’ll be the senior leader shaping how paid media, app growth, and measurement drive the next phase of growth globally. You’ll be in their central London HQ around 2 days per week, working closely with marketing, product, analytics, and commercial teams.
The Opportunity
This is a true leadership role with full ownership of global performance marketing and a sizeable budget aligned to cost-of-sale and ROI targets. You’ll inherit a strong team (12+ people with senior Heads of across channels) and have the mandate to modernise measurement, sharpen investment decisions, and push app and lifecycle growth harder. In your first 12 months, you’ll likely:
- Modernise attribution and incrementality frameworks so ROI and CPA are genuinely trusted
- Build stronger app acquisition and retention funnels, improving install-to-purchase conversion
- Align and develop a multi-layered performance team across channels
- Manage a multi-million-pound global budget to deliver margin-aligned growth
- Introduce new tools, ways of working, and experimentation frameworks to future-proof the function
What they’re looking for
You’ll be a senior performance leader who blends commercial instinct with technical depth, with:
- Experience leading multi-channel performance teams (10+ people) with senior direct reports
- Deep expertise in Paid Search and App Marketing
- Background in e-commerce or digital consumer businesses
- Proven track record managing £10m–£20m+ budgets against ROI or cost-of-sale targets
- Strong understanding of attribution and incrementality tools
- Highly analytical and comfortable using data to drive commercial decisions
