We're hiring for a Compliance Manager (Data Protection & Operational Compliance) - Permanent role - Remote/Must be open to being onsite in Wokingham once a month - Up to £80,000.
Join the Technology team and play a key role in shaping and delivering our data protection and operational compliance activities.
About the role:
Reporting to the CTO, you'll act as our Data Protection Officer (DPO), taking a hands-on approach to GDPR compliance, customer assurance, and internal operational practices. This is a practical, delivery-focused role where you'll work closely with teams across the business to embed strong data protection standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead data protection activities and act as DPO
- Manage GDPR documentation (RoPA, DPIAs, data mapping)
- Oversee data subject requests (SARs, erasure, correction)
- Support internal compliance reviews and training
- Partner with Sales & Customer Success on client assurance
- Liaise with the ICO and support regulatory requirements
What we're looking for:
- Someone who has worked in a small business heading up all things compliance
- Proven experience in data protection or compliance
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and ICO guidance
- Hands-on experience managing SARs and compliance documentation
- Familiarity with ISO audit processes
- Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, or BCS DP Practitioner
