I’m working with one of the UK’s largest media owners on a genuinely exciting build role within their Commercial Marketing team. They’re launching dedicated B2B social channels for the first time. This isn’t about running an existing feed. It’s about building how they show up to agencies, brand marketers and media partners across LinkedIn and Instagram. This is not a corporate scheduler role. It’s not a “be the face of the brand” creator role either. It’s a commercially minded, creatively sharp social builder role.

Why this is interesting

  • You’re building B2B channels from scratch, not inheriting legacy
  • You’ll shape how a major media business positions itself to the advertising industry
  • High autonomy, solo role, real ownership
  • Direct exposure to senior commercial stakeholders
  • A chance to combine creative production with commercial strategy
  • Clear growth ambition behind it, this is part of a wider strategic push

What you’d be doing

  • Owning LinkedIn and Instagram for commercial audiences
  • Building content pillars and defining tone of voice
  • Turning product launches, research and partnerships into compelling industry stories
  • Creating polished, social-first video and visual content
  • Balancing campaign-led content with structured, evergreen storytelling
  • Using data and performance insight to refine approach
  • Acting as a story-hunter across various internal teams spanning Outdoor, Audio and Video

What we're looking for

  • Experience running B2B social end-to-end
  • Strong LinkedIn and Instagram channel management
  • A genuine understanding of the media and advertising ecosystem
  • Creative polish, someone with an eye for what “premium” looks like
  • Confidence shooting and editing social-first content
  • Commercial mindset, able to talk about business impact not just engagement
  • Emotional intelligence, able to build relationships internally

This probably won’t suit you if

  • You want to be a creator or on-camera personality
  • You’ve only worked in large, highly resourced social teams
  • You’re purely data-driven without creative instinct
  • You’re looking for a remote-first role

Practical info

  • London based, 3 days per week in office
  • Salary ÂŁ45k, flexibility to ÂŁ50k for someone exceptional
  • Two-stage interview process including a creative task
  • No sponsorship available

If you understand agencies, advertisers and media owners and want to build something properly rather than maintain something safe, this is worth a conversation.
