London | Hybrid (2 days per week) | £60,000 + Benefits

We're partnering with a fast-growing international financial services business that is investing heavily in its marketing function and building a best-in-class content operation.

As part of that growth, they're looking for a Social Media Manager to help shape the future of their social channels across multiple international markets.

This is far more than a scheduling and community management role.

You'll work at the centre of a fast-paced marketing team, creating engaging content around major market events, collaborating with in-house analysts, designers and compliance specialists, and helping the business react quickly when important financial news breaks.

If you enjoy working where no two days are the same and want to move into a role with genuine ownership and progression, this is a fantastic opportunity.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage day-to-day social media activity across LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Build engaging content calendars around financial and economic events.
  • React rapidly to breaking news with timely, high-quality content.
  • Work closely with an in-house creative team to bring ideas to life.
  • Partner with compliance to ensure all content meets regulatory standards.
  • Support and help develop a junior Social Executive.
  • Work alongside an external social agency to deliver campaigns and always-on content.
  • Monitor performance and continuously optimise engagement, reach and brand sentiment.
  • Use AI tools to improve efficiency and content creation.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • Experience managing social media for a regulated industry such as fintech, financial services, banking, insurance or payments.
  • Experience creating content across multiple social platforms.
  • A strong understanding of social strategy, content planning and community engagement.
  • Experience working alongside compliance or legal teams.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work quickly when priorities change.
  • Experience using AI tools within your day-to-day workflow.

Nice to have

  • Financial Promotions (FinProm) knowledge.
  • Experience managing agencies.
  • Previous line management or mentoring experience.
  • An interest in financial markets or current affairs.

You’ll join a business investing heavily in marketing, where social is viewed as a strategic growth channel rather than simply a support function.

You’ll have genuine ownership, exposure to senior leadership and clear progression opportunities as the wider content team continues to grow.
