I'm recruiting for a Senior Designer on a 12-month contract, and it's a genuinely good one if the timing's right for you! You'd be the creative force behind everything this media brand puts out internally: decks, exec presentations, comms graphics, brand assets, the works. You'd also be in the room (virtually or otherwise) with the Founder and CEO building the deck for their quarterly company-wide meeting, so this isn't a back-office design role, it's senior-stakeholder-facing from day one.

What you'll do

  • Own internal creative end to end, from a basic brief through to final delivery, with real autonomy
  • Lead design on the quarterly company-wide meeting deck, working directly with the Founder, CEO and senior business heads
  • Brief and direct a Junior Video Editor on internal video content
  • Get involved in office and building branding during an ongoing refurb and future events
  • Move fast and adapt as priorities shift, especially in the run-up to each quarterly meeting

What we need

  • Strong graphic design experience, specifically building decks, presentations and pitch materials, not just general brand design
  • Genuine brand experience, you know how to apply and protect a brand's look and feel consistently
  • Confidence with senior stakeholders, calm under pressure, comfortable pushing back when needed
  • Comfortable directing junior creative talent, even if you haven't formally line-managed before
  • Adobe Creative Suite as standard, Keynote experience is a bonus, not a dealbreaker

This will suit you if

  • You like working at pace and don't need everything mapped out in advance
  • You want high-visibility work and direct exposure to senior leadership
  • You can be curious about a brand and represent it with passion
  • You're genuinely comfortable with contract work, this is 12 months, though it's a role that's gone permanent before

Practical info

  • £50,000 base salary.
  • Based in central London, hybrid with 3 days in office.
  • Applications will need to come with portfolio linked or attached. If you wish to highlight specific projects, we'd be most interested in seeing internal comms work, presentation deck design and brand work.
  • You may be from an agency or brand-side. You may be a freelancer or contractor who's open to something with a bit more longevity. But you'll definitely care about how a brand shows up, not just to its customers, but to the people who work there.
