Coming from an operational construction background and looking to make the move into technology?
I’m working with a rapidly growing technology business that is transforming how major construction projects are planned, monitored and delivered.
They’re looking for a Schedule Integration Team Lead - a great opportunity for an experienced construction professional to take their industry expertise into a technology environment, while also taking on responsibility for leading and developing a team.
The role
You’ll have a roughly 50/50 split between team leadership and hands-on schedule work, so your construction knowledge remains central to the role.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Schedule Integration Specialists
- Managing workload allocation, performance and KPIs
- Reviewing work to ensure quality across the team
- Acting as the escalation point for complex scheduling and client issues
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
- Working hands-on with construction schedules and project sequencing
- Partnering with internal teams to identify recurring client challenges and improve processes
- Working across a diverse range of construction projects internationally
We're looking for:
- 4+ years operational experience within building construction
- Strong understanding of construction programmes, scheduling and fit-out sequences
- Background in Engineering, Planning, Construction Management or equivalent
- Experience with P6, MS Project or Powerproject
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with technology and modern AI tools
This could be a particularly strong fit for someone currently working in construction planning, project controls, construction management or site operations who wants to move into a technology-led environment without losing the construction expertise they've built their career around.
