Overview
Looking for an experienced Account Director to lead client relationships and delivery across integrated media campaigns. This role suits someone who is confident in owning senior stakeholders, enjoys developing teams, and is comfortable operating across both digital and offline media planning. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also help mentor and develop Account Managers and Executives.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day client relationships, acting as the main senior contact
- Own the strategic direction of media plans from brief through to delivery
- Oversee integrated media planning across digital and offline channels
- Ensure campaigns meet or exceed client KPIs and commercial objectives
- Manage and develop an Account Director “pod” including AMs and AEs
- Set clear expectations around quality of service, delivery, and timelines
- Support prioritisation and resourcing across accounts
- Maintain strong financial control, including forecasting, billing, and scope management
- Identify opportunities for account growth and cross-channel expansion
- Contribute to new business pitches and agency marketing initiatives
- Collaborate closely with internal specialists and external agency partners
Skills Needed to Apply
- 5+ years’ experience within media, marketing, or agency environments
- Strong experience in media planning, either integrated or with a solid digital foundation
- A proven track record of delivering growth through advertising campaigns
- Good understanding of the wider media and marketing mix
- Experience leading teams and developing junior talent
- Strong client servicing skills with senior stakeholder exposure
- Commercial confidence, including forecasting, scopes, and revenue management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
- A proactive, curious mindset with the ability to challenge and add value
