Media Operations / Finance Operations Contract

We’re looking for an experienced Media FinOps Specialist to provide immediate support to a busy media team. You’ll help clear an unbilled media backlog, resolve booking and reconciliation issues, and move approved activity through to client billing.
This is a practical media operations role with a strong financial focus. You’ll need to be confident using Prisma / Mediaocean from day one and comfortable investigating discrepancies across high volumes of activity.
Responsibilities:
- Work through unbilled media and reconciliation backlogs, prioritising aged and high‑value items.
- Reconcile bookings against approved media plans, purchase orders, insertion orders and actual costs.
- Resolve PO and IO mismatches, missing information, fees, credits and campaign phasing issues.
- Create or update campaigns, bookings and IO details in Prisma.
- Partner with Planning and Finance teams to resolve queries and progress invoicing.
- Maintain clear trackers and support a sustainable monthly reconciliation process.
- A background in media operations, media finance, campaign operations or media buying operations.
- Understanding of the full PO, booking, IO, reconciliation and billing lifecycle.
- Strong Excel skills, numerical accuracy and investigative problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and at pace.
