I'm working exclusively with one of the most compelling AI‑native startups in the developer tools space right now. They’ve raised over $80M from some of the best investors in the industry and they’ve already been recognised as one of the fastest‑growing B2B SaaS companies in Europe. They’re growing fast, and the product is at the centre of something that is genuinely reshaping how software gets built.
This is a founding PMM hire. You will be the first dedicated product marketer this business has ever had. There are no foundations, no messaging framework, no structured launch process. It’s a blank page and that’s entirely the point.
This product sits at the intersection of AI and software development. The company believes and is building for a world where developers define features and architecture in specs, not code, with AI agents doing the work. It’s a new category. You’ll be defining how it’s understood in the market. Your job is to own that narrative end to end. Positioning, messaging, launches, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and the GTM infrastructure that everything else grows from. You’ll work directly alongside product and engineering, translate deeply technical capabilities into stories that land with developers and engineering leaders, and build the foundation from scratch.
What this role is not:
- It is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a playbook and optimise it. There is no playbook. You’re writing it.
- It is also not a role for someone who is interested in AI as a CV talking point. This company lives inside the AI‑native developer movement. You need to have been paying attention genuinely and have a point of view on where it’s heading.
What you need to have done:
- You must have founding or near‑founding PMM experience. That means you’ve been the person who built it, installed the frameworks, created the process, brought structure where there wasn’t any, and did the work yourself at the same time.
- A background in developer tools or highly technical B2B SaaS you’ve marketed to developers, you understand how they think, and you know what earns their trust.
- Technically fluent and comfortable in a room full of engineers.
- Exceptional writer who can make complex things feel obvious.
- 4–8 years in product marketing, with real ownership of messaging end to end.
- Experience with PLG and sales‑assisted motions is a strong plus.
