New Business Account Executive – SaaS | Public Sector Focus UK | Hybrid / Remote Permanent | High-growth SaaS

I’m currently partnering with a high-growth SaaS business that is transforming how public sector organisations manage complex workflows through a modern, AI-enabled platform. With a strong reputation and continued growth across the UK, they are looking to hire a New Business Account Executive to drive net new revenue across key public sector markets.

The Opportunity

This is a true hunter role, focused on generating and closing new business across Local Government, Police, and NHS organisations. You’ll take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle — from outbound prospecting and stakeholder engagement through to closing deals — before handing over to a dedicated Account Management team. This role offers the chance to sell a high-impact, mission-critical solution into organisations where your work genuinely makes a difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive net new SaaS revenue through outbound prospecting and targeted account engagement
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract signature
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Run structured, consultative sales processes (e.g. MEDDPICC / Challenger)
  • Maintain a high-quality pipeline, with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene (HubSpot)
  • Collaborate with Marketing to convert campaigns into qualified opportunities
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance outreach, productivity, and deal execution
  • Share market insights to support product and go-to-market strategy

What They’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a strong new business focus
  • Proven track record of closing net new logos in competitive markets
  • Experience owning full-cycle, outbound-led sales motions
  • Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC, Challenger)
  • Experience selling into the public sector is beneficial, but not essential
  • A proactive, driven, and coachable mindset

Why This Role?

  • Join a scaling SaaS company with strong product-market fit
  • Sell into high-value public sector organisations
  • Be part of a collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Opportunity to shape growth and GTM strategy

If you’re a driven, outbound-focused Account Executive looking for your next move in a high-growth SaaS business, I’d love to speak.
