Global brand hiring: Senior AWS / Full Stack Engineer - 12 month contract - Remote/UK based. I’m looking to connect with experienced engineers who thrive in cloud-native environments and enjoy building scalable, data-driven applications.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years working with AWS services including Aurora, Postgres, Redshift, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFront, SES, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, and SAM/CloudFormation
- Strong SQL programming expertise
- Experience with NestJS and modern front-end development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Familiarity with GitLab (or similar) and CI/CD workflows
- Proven track record optimizing data storage, retrieval, performance, and cost efficiency
- Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, and streaming platforms into centralized systems (data lakes / warehouses)
- Hands-on experience with serverless architectures, DevOps practices, containers, and cloud security
Bonus points for:
- Advanced knowledge of data security best practices (encryption, IAM, access controls)
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business teams
- Solid understanding of SDLC, testing, and cloud-based delivery
