An AI company operating at the intersection of building services, water engineering, and smart infrastructure is hiring an MEP Engineer to join its UK Solutions & Engineering function. This role sits at the point where engineering design, site delivery, and commercial planning meet. You’ll work closely with internal teams across solutions, project delivery, and customer-facing functions to design and scope water systems for real construction and retrofit projects across the UK. It’s a technically focused position with exposure to clients and live sites, well-suited to an engineer who enjoys applying design expertise in practical, real-world environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Reviewing and interpreting MEP drawings, plumbing schematics, and specifications
- Conducting on-site surveys to assess installation and integration requirements
- Designing and scoping water system solutions for UK buildings
- Supporting early-stage technical planning and system siting
- Collaborating with commercial, delivery, product, and customer teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Contributing to best-practice standards and technical documentation
What They’re Looking For
- 4+ years’ experience in MEP / Building Services / Water Engineering
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and standards
- Confidence producing and reviewing MEP documentation
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Background in plumbing systems or water management preferred
- CIBSE membership (or working toward) advantageous
- Comfortable working across office, site, and collaborative environments
£80,000 base salary + £20,000 annual bonus. London-based role (3 days per week in office). Exposure to UK and international projects. Opportunity to grow into senior technical or solutions leadership roles within a scaling business.
