I’m working with a UK-based marketing agency that’s looking to engage an experienced Digital PR Freelancer with strong U.S. market expertise. They’re currently supporting several U.S. clients and want to strengthen their Digital PR capability specifically for the U.S. media landscape.

This is an initial consultancy-style engagement, with clear potential for ongoing freelance work as campaigns ramp up.

Responsibilities
  • Review the agency’s current Digital PR approach for the U.S. market and upskill the internal team.
  • Assess how a UK-led Digital PR approach translates to the U.S. media environment.
  • Identify gaps, risks and opportunities across ideation, outreach, media targeting and messaging.
  • Provide practical, actionable recommendations to improve U.S. campaign performance.
  • Deliver a structured training session to the internal team, focused on U.S. Digital PR best practice and execution.
Ongoing Freelance Work (Potential)
  • Support or lead U.S.-focused Digital PR campaigns across 4 established U.S. client accounts.
  • Develop U.S.-relevant campaign ideas and news angles.
  • Manage outreach to U.S. publications and journalists.
  • Support coverage, authority and link acquisition objectives.
  • Work closely with SEO and content teams.
Experience Needed
  • Proven Digital PR experience within the U.S. market.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. media landscape.
  • Comfortable operating in a consultative, advisory capacity.
