Contract Opportunity – Business Central Developer/Consultant - 8 months - OUTSIDE IR35 - REMOTE/Occasional onsite work in London office.

I’m currently looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to join a major ERP transformation programme on an 8-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving finance system optimisation, automation, and process excellence within an international environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central expert with 4+ years’ hands-on experience (Microsoft Certification preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of finance operations and accounting principles
  • Proven experience in system configuration, setup, and process mapping
  • Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps & Power Automate)
  • Ability to produce clear functional specifications for technical teams

What you’ll be doing:

  • Translate business requirements into functional specs for development and integrations
  • Configure, optimise, and manage changes within Business Central
  • Support finance processes across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets & Cash Management
  • Lead UAT support, defect tracking, and resolution
  • Work on integrations (e.g., e-invoicing, finance systems, and internal platforms)
  • Drive automation initiatives using Power Platform
  • Deliver training and support to finance users
  • Contribute to system improvements, upgrades, and performance optimisation
