We're looking for a Freelance AI Product Builder to help shape the next generation of AI-powered digital products. This isn't a traditional software engineering role—it's an opportunity to work at the intersection of product, AI, UX, and rapid experimentation.

You'll take ideas from concept to working prototypes, improve existing AI-generated applications, build new features, refine user journeys, and help transform promising products into scalable, production-ready experiences. If you enjoy using AI as a genuine development partner, love solving product problems, and want to move quickly while still producing thoughtful, maintainable solutions, this role offers a unique opportunity to do exactly that.

About You

You're naturally curious, highly adaptable, and excited by the pace of AI-assisted product development. You don't necessarily come from a traditional software engineering background—but you understand how modern web applications are built and enjoy using AI tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality. You think like both a builder and a product person, always considering usability alongside technical implementation.

Ideally you'll bring:

  • Experience building web applications or digital products using modern AI development tools
  • Experience working with platforms such as Lovable, Supabase, or similar low-code/AI-native development environments
  • Strong understanding of APIs, frontend behaviour, backend logic and user flows
  • Ability to troubleshoot, refactor and improve AI-generated code rather than simply generating it
  • A strong appreciation for UX and creating intuitive customer experiences
  • Comfortable collaborating with designers, product teams, marketers and stakeholders

Why Would You Join?

This is a chance to work on genuinely innovative AI-first products where experimentation is encouraged and your ideas directly influence what gets built. You'll collaborate with talented multidisciplinary teams, work with cutting-edge AI tooling every day, and help define how modern products are designed, developed, and delivered. If you're excited by AI-native development rather than traditional feature factory engineering, you'll find plenty of room to make an impact.

Contract, Location & Process:

  • Contract: Freelance 3 month contract (initial 2 week sprint followed with 1 day a week engagement)
  • Location: Remotely in the United Kingdom
  • Day Rate: £350 - £450
  • Process: Introductory Call → Technical/Product Discussion → Final Interview → Offer

Interested in building AI-powered products instead of just writing code? Let's connect. I'd love to tell you more about the opportunity and see whether it could be the right fit for you.
