Contract Opportunity – Business Central Developer/Consultant - 8 months - OUTSIDE IR35 - REMOTE/Occasional onsite work in London office. I’m currently looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to join a major ERP transformation programme on an 8-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving finance system optimisation, automation, and process excellence within an international environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central expert with 4+ years’ hands-on experience (Microsoft Certification preferred)
- Strong knowledge of finance operations and accounting principles
- Proven experience in system configuration, setup, and process mapping
- Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps & Power Automate)
- Ability to produce clear functional specifications for technical teams
What you’ll be doing:
- Translate business requirements into functional specs for development and integrations
- Configure, optimise, and manage changes within Business Central
- Support finance processes across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets & Cash Management
- Lead UAT support, defect tracking, and resolution
- Work on integrations (e.g., e-invoicing, finance systems, and internal platforms)
- Drive automation initiatives using Power Platform
- Deliver training and support to finance users
- Contribute to system improvements, upgrades, and performance optimisation
